How can I offer a Mass for someone?
To “offer a Mass” means to request that a Catholic priest celebrate a Mass for a specific intention. You may request a Mass Intention in thanksgiving for a blessing, for the health of a loved one, in memory of a loved one, in celebration of a special occasion like a birthday or anniversary, or for a prayer request.
The Mass is a sacrifice, and its intention is to unite the faithful with Jesus Christ’s sacrifice on the cross. When a Mass is offered, the priest prays that the fruits of Christ’s sacrifice be applied to a specific intention, benefiting the person(s) or situation involved.
Please note: Requests will be honored on a first-come, first serve basis in the order in which the request is received, you may also call in advance to save a date.
