Fr. Joseph Quân Nguyễn was born in Thanh Hải-Phan Thiết, Vietnam. Fr. Joseph migrated to the United States in the early 90’s with his family in Westminster, Orange County, California.

Fr. Joseph speaks three languages fluently – Vietnamese, English, and Spanish. The first comes naturally to one who grew up in Vietnam; the second was acquired as a High school student in Westminster, California; the third added as he was educated at St. John’s Seminary College undergraduate with Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Psychology December 17th 2000, eventually earning a Master of Divinity degree on May 17, 2005 just before his ordination to the Priesthood on June 4, 2005.

Fr. Joseph served at multicultural communities primarily in English, Spanish and Vietnamese at St. Pius X parish in Santa Fe Springs, CA, Our Lady of the Assumption in Claremont, Holy Cross Parish in Moorpark, and has served also as associate pastor at American Martyrs Parish in Manhattan Beach, CA before arriving here at St. Joan of Arc, West Los Angeles.
