Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ:
On October 29, 2024, we celebrated the Thanksgiving Mass of our Newly renovated church and 80thAnniversary of founding our parish. Our beloved Archbishop Jose H. Gomez was the Principal celebrant and dedicated our new Altar and blessing of the new statue of Our Lady of Guadalupe. We began the process of renovation in mid-July of 2021 and finished the interior of the church at the end of July 2022.
On August, 2022 began to have Mass inside the church and while we were waiting to complete the exterior plaza of the church. Finally, as of May 24, 2024, we officially finished the works of the exterior of the church and we are excited to reopen the front doors of the church to welcome all of you to visit our church and attending Masses.
We thank you for your patience and waiting for the total completion of the remodeling process. If you read this message today, please come and join us this weekend of May 25-26 of the celebration of the Eucharist with our community and see the beauty of both interior and exterior of the Church.

Queridos hermanos y hermanas en Cristo:
El 29 de Octubre de 2024 celebramos la misa de acción de gracias de nuestra iglesia recién renovada y el 80 aniversario de la fundación de nuestra parroquia. Nuestro querido Arzobispo José H. Gómez fue el celebrante principal y dedicó nuestro nuevo Altar y la bendición de la nueva estatua de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe.Comenzamos el proceso de renovación a mediados de julio de 2021 y terminamos el interior de la iglesia a finales de julio de 2022.
En Agosto de 2022 comenzamos a tener Misa dentro de la iglesia y mientras esperabamos a terminar la plaza exterior de la iglesia. Finalmente, a partir del 24 de mayo de 2024, terminamos oficialmente las obras del exterior de la iglesia y estamos emocionados de volver a abrir las puertas delanteras de la iglesia para dar la bienvenida a todos ustedes a visitar nuestra iglesia y asistir a misas.
Les agradecemos su paciencia y espera para la total finalización del proceso de remodelación. Si usted lee este mensaje hoy, por favor venga y únase a nosotros este fin de semana del 25-26 de mayo de la celebración de la Eucaristía con nuestra comunidad y ver la belleza del interior y el exterior de la Iglesia.

As our parish family of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Community in West Los Angeles looks back on its 71 year history, we give thanks to God for the marvelous foundations and blessings we have received, reflect on our many wonderful accomplishments thus far, and look forward to what still awaits us in the next chapter of our story.
